ward thomas live

In the run up to Mother’s Day, Ward Thomas, the critically acclaimed UK country duo share a new track “Who We Are” from the Deluxe Edition of their debut album “From Where We Stand”. An emotive tribute to their mother, ‘Who We Are’ is song inspired by their mother’s relentless strength, wisdom and love. The Deluxe edition of their debut album ‘From Where We Stand’ was released on March 2nd. As well as ‘Who We Are’, the re – packaged version of the album includes a cover of Michael Jackson’s classic ‘Man In The Mirror’ and live versions of tracks recorded on last autumn’s UK tour.

Last weekend (7th & 8th of March), Ward Thomas played on three different stages at the C2C Festival at the O2, including a show in the Brooklyn Bowl and a performance on the Satellite Stage in the Arena itself where they played to a 16,000 strong audience. It was a monumental moment for the sisters.

The twin sisters duo Ward Thomas is on course to become the most successful female British country act of all time.” Country Music People – January 2015

Their 18 date UK & Eire headline tour kicked off this week in Bristol and will close in Cardiff on April 2nd. The tour will see Ward Thomas playing in cities including Birmingham, Manchester, Aberdeen and Dublin, as well their biggest headline show to date; Islington Assembly Hall on March 26th.

Ward Thomas’ main support across the tour as Nashville based songstress Jessica Ridley. An impressive set of credentials that include: winning an ABC reality show called “The Big Time” – giving her the opportunity to open the 2nd night of the iHeartRadio Festival in front of 17,000 people; the release of her debut project “Fit To Be Tied” to glowing reviews; singles that have charted around the world; and opening for Luke Bryan have all set the stage for Ridley to step out in the UK for the first time.
