Rising new artist Kelsea Ballerini will kick off 2016 with a national media blitz this week as she heads to NYC to perform her catchy Top 10-and-climbing single “Dibs” on ABC’s Good Morning America this Wednesday (1/13), airing at 7:00am ET/PT. Later that night, she will perform on NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers airing at 12:35/11:35pm CT. Written by Ballerini, Josh Kerr, Ryan Griffin, and Jason Duke, “Dibs” is from her critically acclaimed debut album THE FIRST TIME, which was featured on the New York Times Best Albums of 2015 list.
Living up to the moniker of “Country’s Next Queen” (Billboard), the Black River Entertainment recording artist makes a strong statement topping multiple 2015 “Year-End” lists. She was named Billboard’s 2015 Top New Country Artist (#1) and Country Aircheck’s 2015 Top New Country Artist (#1) as well as the #2 Female Country Artist (behind Carrie Underwood). Rolling Stone Country highlighted her breakout debut “Love Me Like You Mean It” in the 25 Best Country Songs of 2015 list. Already looking ahead, Music Row Magazine chose Ballerini as a 2016 “Next Big Thing” and Radio Disney named her the newest “NBT” (Next Big Thing) featured artist.
Currently touring across the country, she will join select dates on Billy Currington’s SUMMER FOREVER Tour kicking off in February, and has previously shared the stage with Alan Jackson, Lady Antebellum, Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban.
