Following Country to Country Festival 2016, some of the hottest up-and-coming new American acts – Ashley Monroe, Maren Morris, Old Dominion and will be headlining intimate shows across London, with Frankie Ballard and Striking Matches touring across the UK as part of C2C Introduces. Ashley Monroe’s date at Bush Hall is now on March 15th, not 17th as previously stated.
UK live favourites Striking Matches will play Bush Hall on 20th March alongside three newly announced dates across the UK. The headline shows follow last year’s success with a major headline tour in November and national TV appearances on BBC’s The John Bishop Show and Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch.
Musically they occupy the sweet spot at the intersection of country, rock and blues, where all of the elements blend to form an authentically raw and rootsy sound that has a timeless and international appeal. They have written songs for the “Nashville” TV series and toured with Vince Gill, Ashley Monroe, Hunter Hayes, Train, Keith Urban and The Lone Bellow. The duo comprising Sarah Zimmermann and Justin Davis were Pop-Up artists at the last two C2C Festivals in London, but this year they make their debut in the C2C Arena.
