With less than a week until the Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas, singer songwriter Brett Eldredge is already in the mode to celebrate as his latest single “Drunk On Your Love,” becomes his 5th consecutive #1 single on the Country Aircheck/Mediabase chart.

“This is a special one,” said Eldredge. “I wrote this song back before I had one number one, let alone five! I always wanted it to be a single one day and now it’s at the top of the charts! I am constantly floored by the amazing support from my fans and country radio. Grateful is an understatement!” “Drunk On Your Love” was one of the last songs recorded for his new album Illinois, after it received a late push from fans to ensure its inclusion. Eldredge wrote the song years ago and was a favorite of those who had heard it including Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line and his wife. They asked Eldredge if they could use the demo of the song for their wedding video which was posted on People.com and fans reacted immediately after they heard the song.

Eldredge co-wrote every song on and co-produced the album that debuted at #1 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart and #3 on the all-genre Hot 200 Chart upon its release. He has five consecutive #1 singles including the Platinum-certified “Don’t Ya,” Gold-certified “Beat of the Music,” which was the BMI most played country song of 2015, the Gold-certified “Mean To Me” and most recently, “Lose My Mind,” and “Drunk On Your Love.”

Eldredge will have a full slate of appearances around the 51 Academy of Country Music Awards ,where the double nominee will perform. Eldredge will also take the stage for  The 4th ACM Party for a Cause® Festival on Sunday, April 3.  The ACM Awards broadcast from MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at 8:00 PM live ET/delayed PT on the CBS Television Network.
