FEATURED: Gord Bamford ‘Country Junkie’

Gord_Bamford_Country_Junkie_2013

Veteran Canadian country superstar Gord Bamford has begun to break the US with his latest release, ‘Country Junkie’. Featuring hits like ‘When Your Lips Are So Close’, ‘Unreal’ and ‘Where A Farm Used To Be’ (the former has since been certified Gold in Canada), he’s been picking up a buzz in non-Canadian press for the past year, following on from the October 2013 release date of the record. Gord-Bamford-Country-Junkie-cover

Gord Bamford continues to be one of Canada’s biggest country stars, and his new single ‘Where A Farm Used To Be’ is no different. Speeding up the charts, it bemoans the modernization of rural areas to a rockin’ solid country base, using Gord’s trademark deep, rich vocals and passionate delivery. The video is a great one, telling the story of a young woman who works in a record store, getting sick of all the business people with their cell phones and no appreciation for the real, classic, good things in life.
