Keith Urban To Debut New Single ‘Wasted Time’

Keith Urban’s eighth studio album Ripcord, due out on May 6th, has already produced two No. 1 hits, “John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16” and his 20th No. 1 song, “Break On Me.”  Today will see the release of Ripcord’s third single “Wasted Time,” which will also be followed by the song’s network television debut, a performance on FOX’s American Idol on Thursday, March 31st (8:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed).

Keith Urban Scores 20th #1 Hit With ‘Break On Me’

On February 24th, 2001 a little known country music singer scored his first #1 song with his third single “But For The Grace of God,” from his self-titled debut album. Fifteen years later, almost to the day, the four-time Grammy Award winner and multiple ACM nominee celebrates another #1, only this time setting not only a new career high, but an historic mark on Billboard’s All-Time Country Airplay Chart.

Billboard Chart Roundup – Week of March 12th, 2016

Thomas Rhett’s ‘Die A Happy Man’ might retain its spot at the top of Hot Country Songs, but that’s the only chart it’s leading this week as other tracks begin to take hold. Sam Hunt’s ‘Break Up In A Small Town’ helms Country Streaming Songs while Maren Morris’ ‘My Church’ leaps to crown Country Digital Songs, and Keith Urban’s ‘Break On Me’ heads to #1 on Country Airplay. Keith Urban Adds Surprise New Dates To ripCORD Tour

Four-time Grammy award winner and 2016 Grammy and ACM nominee Keith Urban, today announced the addition of three new “ripCORD World Tour 2016” performances. Two of the tour stops, all of which feature Brett Eldredge and special guest Maren Morris, are to take place in Bozeman (Montana) and Sioux City (Iowa), two markets in which Urban hasn’t appeared since 2005 and 2004 respectively. The third, to take place on August 5that the Portneuf Health Trust Amphitheatre, marks the first time that Urban has ever performed in Pocatello (Idaho). Ticket information for these dates will be available locally in the coming weeks.

Four-time Grammy Award winner Keith Urban and Country Music Hall of Fame member Vince Gill,will return to Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on April 12 for the sixth, highly anticipated All for the Hall, a concert to benefit the Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum. The show’s musical theme, Mashville: The Music City in 2016, will feature performances from musical directors Urban and Gill along with Luke Bryan, Peter Frampton, Florida Georgia Line, Emmylou Harris, Sam Hunt, Jason IsbellMaddie & Tae, and Maren Morris. The show’s presenting sponsor is City National Bank, along with lead sponsor the Academy of Country Music.

Keith Urban Announced As 2016 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award Recipient

The Country Radio Broadcasters have announced Keith Urban as the recipient of the 2016 CRS Artist Humanitarian Award, to be presented during the opening ceremonies of Country Radio Seminar on Feb. 8, 2016. Last year’s Artist Humanitarian Award recipient, Lady Antebellum, will be on hand to present Urban with this year’s award.

The CRB Artist Humanitarian Award was created in 1990 by the organization’s board to honor Country music artists who have exhibited exceptional humanitarian efforts during their career.
