If you were in the mood to get emotional today, then here is your trigger. Lincolnton, North Carolina native Kelby Costner grew up in the small farming town where he worked hard with his father and grandfather, learning how to build or fix anything, and helping to tend to the 300 pigs and big produce gardens they cultivated. Having also sung for most of his life, Kelby began playing guitar in high school and wrote his first song, ‘Thank God For Summertime’ in 2014 at age 22. Less than a year later, he high-tailed it to Nashville to follow his dreams of becoming a singer/songwriter, and he’s never looked back.
