Rascal Flatts Take “Rhythm & Roots” On The Road This Summer

rascal flatts

ACM “Vocal Group Of The Year” Nominees Rascal Flatts wrapped their second wildly-successful Vegas Residency this weekend at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Over the course of their nine-show spectacular critics praised as “the trio that’s practically made of gold and platinum” (Las Vegas Magazine) “blasted through hit after hit” (Las Vegas Review Journal) as well as a surprise cameo from Brian McKnight much “to the delight of the band and their fans” (Las Vegas Sun). Following enthusiastic feedback to the group’s stripped-down setup in Vegas, that allowed the group to fully engage with fans, Rascal Flatts announced today that their headlining RASCAL FLATTS: RHYTHM AND ROOTS TOUR will kick off in Charlotte, NC on 6/17 and the trio have invited two-time ACM nominee Kelsea Ballerini and red-hot newcomer Chris Lane to join them out on the road.

Billboard Chart Roundup – Week of March 5th, 2016

Dibs

Welcome to the first Billboard chart roundup in several weeks! I hope you missed us (if not, it’s fine, I’ll just go in the corner and cry…). Not a lot has changed at the top since we’ve been gone, as Thomas Rhett’s monster hit ‘Die A Happy Man’ retains its position at #1 on Hot Country Songs. Elsewhere, Sam Hunt’s ‘Break Up In A Small Town’ continues to hold #1 on Country Streaming Songs, while Little Big Town’s ‘Girl Crush’ rises significantly to helm Country Digital Songs (aided in part by the Grammys, which aired Feb 15), and Kelsea Ballerini’s ‘Dibs’ crowns Country Airplay, making her only the fifth woman in country music to have her first two singles go to #1. Meanwhile, Top Country Albums features a number of brand new album releases, including Joey + Rory’s ‘Hymns’ (#1 on the chart), Wheeler Walker Jr, Wynonna & The Big Noise, Brett Young, and Lorrie Morgan. Read on for more!
