Kip Moore Extends Headlining Wild Ones Tour Into 2016

Kip Moore ‘Running For You’ – Single Review

Kip Moore released his second album, Wild Ones, in August. Moore wrote all 13 tracks on the record, which received mostly positive reviews. Wild Ones debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200 chart, and #2 on the Top Country Albums chart. The lead single from the album, “I’m To Blame” was released earlier this year and peaked at #24. Moore has recently released his second single from the record, “Running For You”.

Brad Paisley is a born entertainer. His show not only has the musical intensity of Eric Church and the energy and humor of Dolly Parton, but also brings a little extra magic that only Brad can pull off. Whilst in the hands of other performers some of the backing videos would fall flat, Brad makes them genuinely funny, such as the video montage playing during ‘Celebrity’ where a Brad caricature pulls pranks on the street and reenacts famous musical moments from Nicki Minaj’s ‘Anaconda’ to Miley Cyrus’ ‘Wrecking Ball’.

iTunes UK Country Chart Roundup – Week of 21st August, 2015

This week’s Country Albums chart is much the same as previous weeks, with one notable exception. Kip Moore’s brand new album ‘Wild Ones’ (released today) is topping the chart outright, although previous leaders The Shires are still at #2 and #4 with ‘Brave (Deluxe)’ and ‘Brave’ respectively. Another favourite of the UK audience are the Nashville soundtracks, with ‘Season 3, Volume 2’ holding at #3 while ‘Season 3, Volume 1’ takes #7, ‘Season 2, Volume 2’ is at #16 and ‘Season 2, Volume 1’ is at #20. Elsewhere, Luke Bryan’s ‘Kill The Lights’ remains at #5 ahead of Johnny Cash’s entries, ‘The Best of’ at #6 and ‘The Legend of’ at #8, while Kacey Musgraves’ ‘Pageant Material’ sticks to #10 and ‘Same Trailer Different Park’ is below at #19.

Kip Moore ‘Wild Ones’ – Album Review

Kip Moore seems to have been though the mill a bit since his debut album ‘Up All Night’ introduced him to the country music world as an exciting newcomer. Having released a few singles that failed to impact radio in a meaningful way reports say he scrapped a whole album and started afresh, coming up with ‘Wild Ones’, his long-overdue sophomore record. In interviews Kip talks of the pain he has been feeling over the last three years after hitting dead-end after dead-end in the attempt to release new material, and so I expected a lot of that frustration to come out in ‘Wild Ones’.

CMA Festival Country’s Night To Rock: Recap + Loads of Opinion
