Welcome
Country music commentary, discussion, critique, review, and a one-stop-shop for the best artists around.
For The Country, Record is exactly that: for (as in pro) the record that is “country” (whatever that is). It is also a place for straight-up honesty, unadulterated opinion, discussion and argument, country music for the record. It is the place for debate about topics big and small, for reviews of the best and worst music and features on some of the coolest artists around, big and small, major and independent, commercial and non-commercial.
This is a place to share, to get angry, to get critical, and most of all to think. I mean really think. If you’re not up for reading the occasional long word and convoluted sentence then you’re in the wrong place.
Overview
What does a singing cowboy with a guitar remind you of? Country music! It is an old genre with lyrics that reach the soul. If you enjoy listening to country songs, you can tell that the lyrics are soothing and relaxing.
Our Goal
